Eyerusalem Abere, the founder and designer at Gerager Design.
She studied Fashion Design and gained experience working with local artisans in Ethiopia. Eyerusalem opened her own studio in Addis Ababa, where she leads a team of skilled women.
Eyerusalem started Gerager Design to blend Ethiopian traditions with practical modern style. She looks to the country’s rich culture for inspiration and chooses natural fabrics. Each piece shows detailed handwork, including weaving and embroidery.
Her goal is to build a brand that shares Ethiopian heritage with the world. She focuses on sustainable production and quality. Eyerusalem wants you to wear designs that connect you to Ethiopia’s story and support the growth of local talent.
